How do I make transitions move left-to-right, or top-to-bottom?

How do I make transitions move left-to-right, or top-to-bottom? To make a Transition Deko transition move left-to-right, or top-to-bottom, set the rate parameter to a negative value.  The rate parameter is controlled by a thumbwheel in the Transitions section of the Deko tab of the Transition Deko object editor.

The rate and direction of the scrollthru transition types is set by the rate parameter.  The units are pixels (or scanlines) per field, and positive values indicate a right-to-left crawl or a bottom-to-top roll.  Negative rate values move in the other direction.

The timing of non-scrollthru transitions is determined by the duration parameter, but the direction is still set by the sign of the rate value.  The duration value is in decimal seconds. The magnitude of the rate parameter has no effect on these transition types.
